Thanks to its 7ply Canadian maple deck the cruising longboard is extremely hardwearing. In order to keep feet grounded and allow greater control of the pin tail longboard, the deck has been covered in highly durable grip tape. A particularly funky detail of the longboard skateboard is a thick line running through the grip tape with two thinner lines on either side. This stylish touch allows the stunning maple finish to show through. The base of the deck has been coloured a striking reddish brown. As with the top of the cruising longboard, a thick line spans the entire length with two thinner lines on either side of it. By far the coolest decoration is an Osprey logo accompanied by the image of a flying skateboard wheel. Perhaps he enjoyed his ride so much that he died and went to longboard heaven!?
Sandwiched between the deck and the aluminium trucks are awesome PU cast cushions, which improve manoeuvrability and allow superb control at high carving speeds. 12mm risers have also been incorporated into the truck design to absorb pressure and prevent wheel bite. Attached to the longboard skateboard trucks are PU cast wheels coloured in a seriously cool shade of purple. The wheels are fitted with ABEC-9 chrome bearings which help to reduce friction for a smoother longboard skateboarding cruise.
